As one of Hydrant’s founding directors, Leo has inevitably experienced first-hand most of the roles in the company at one point or another. His background in user experience design and accessibility for corporate and government systems has shaped Hydrant’s creative and technical approach. Thankfully, he now tries to leave production work to those who, in his words, “do it better” focusing his efforts on how Hydrant can improve and grow as a company -- that is, when he’s not flogging sausages, eggs or other produce from his smallholding.

What I do

I look at where Hydrant should be in a few years time, then annoy everyone else with targets until we get there! I also do some consultancy and look after clients, and try not to tinker with designs!

What I do outside of work

My spare time is split between my other businesses, my family, and a growing collection of animals on our smallholding.

My best moment

My best moment is genuinely still ongoing - watching Hydrant grow from the kitchen table to the team it is today
