A first class honours graduate with over 8 years commercial experience. Stephen has planned and produced a wide range of websites from small e-commerce projects to local government level. A hybrid designer passionate about all things web he specialises in front-end design, user experience, semantic markup, and innovative css.

What I do

Sketch with pen and paper, play with post-it notes and organise information; I understand people to construct websites that are understandable, easy to use and aesthetically pleasing.

What I do outside of work

Lose myself in the outdoors, take photographs, read and swim.

Why it's my favourite project

Designing with such vast amounts of content meant I was able to play with my two of my favourite things…sketch pads and sticky notes…we defiantly reached our recycling quota with the amount of sketch work produced; and I got to decorate the walls of the team Hydrant office with an array of multicoloured post-it notes.

My favourite place and activities

Any form of exercise that involves the outdoors. You'll generally find me running up a hill, swimming across a lake or taking a relaxing walk through the lake district.
