hydrant win 'Best of Cumbria' in 'bigchip' awards

Hydrant picked up the 'Best of Cumbria' award at a glittering ceremony held in central Manchester last week, beating off competition to come away with an award for their e-commerce web site for quality meat producer Richard Woodall.

Now in its ninth year, this year’s Big Chip Awards boasted twenty-five categories including sub-regional categories for Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cheshire & Warrington and boasts Microsoft, Yahoo and the North West Development Agency (NWDA) among this year’s sponsors.

Carlisle design and new media agency, Hydrant, are shortlisted for this years Big Chip awards for excellence in web design. Their e-commerce web site for quality meat producer Richard Woodall is shortlisted alongside national giants HMV, Waterstones and Manchester United in the best B2C e-commerce web site category. The awards recognise creative and technical excellence within the North West digital industry.

As of 1st May 2007, Hydrant has become a Limited company. In tandem with this, we decided to take the opportunity to go through re-branding. Taking the existing values that Hydrant already has, such as our customer care and consideration towards the environment, we have built on these strengths to reveal our new identity.
