We are pleased once again to sponsor and attend DrupalCon, this year held in Munich Germany. Once again it's the largest gathering of the Drupal community in Europe with over 1500 delegates attending from all over the world.  The week long event brings together the people who use, develop, design, and support the Drupal platform for a mass exchange of ideas, best practice and practical development that all helps progress this truly global system.

Drupal Con is an amazing opportunity for developers and businesses to meet, learn and share. With speakers from all over the world and keynotes from Drupal founder Dries Buytaert among others. Anyone within the community is free to submit a session and share their experience with others. It's this open sharing of knowledge and experience that helps make the Drupal community so vibrant and successful.

Whilst in Munich some of the Hydrant team attended an Acquia partner day to hear more about exciting new products and services that we'll be able to offer clients in coming months through our partnership with Acquia. Combined with other opportunities for sharing ideas and networking, we expect to return to the UK with new information and approaches that will benefit clients of all sizes.

Being able to attend these types of events is important for us to stay at the forefront of where the tools we use every day are going, as well as expanding our network of specialist partners and suppliers we can't help but be inspired in this environment.
