The challenge
To design, engineer and build an e-ticketing system that was simple to use for both end users and back-office administrators.
The results
- Over 75 attractions and events signed up using the system
- Over one million pounds worth of tickets sold within the first eighteen months
- Initial revenue projections were exceeded
The solution
Working closely with Tyg, we developed the technical system allowing combined event, attraction & discount pass ticketing for multiple attractions. Using printable tickets & barcode scanning the system is able to validate tickets & passes in real time against a central database. Subsequently we’ve added many additional enhancements to develop and improve the system by providing mobile ticketing, seat booking, integration with EPOS & till systems and development of portable scanning solutions for temporary events.
